A lot of thought goes into conceptualizing an attractive Bespoke Entrance, for that perfect arriving experience.While every effort is made, to make it look amazing, some finer points may get overlooked which later, in day to day life may pose as an inconvenience. 
Main (Safety) door Grill Design
Today numerous material choices and finishes are available to create the most spectacular Main door grill. They have transitioned from horizontal and vertical spaced bars to ornamental / abstract laser cut panels. But in this process one tiny element is lost, receiving couriers /envelopes /small packets without actually opening the door. It would be wise in creating laser cut Grill design, with slots/ slits which facilitates exchanges of smaller items without exposing Children & Aging Parents to the risk of opening the door to Unknown people in your absence.
Ornamentation around the Main door
Every inch available around the Main Door is paneled up to add that touch, to create environment, belongingness. In the course some important practical things get missed out or ignored. On the best of the Main Doors designed, a cloth bag hangs out every night, for the milkman to deliver your Milk Cartons/ pouches the next day morning. Ideally a shelf / Niche / Bracket should be created next to the entrance door of your house depending on the space available to deliver the Milk Cartons/ pouches /Newspaper. Sometimes the newspaper boy has no choice but to leave it on the floor outside your door. Just pause and think, this is the same Newspaper you read while sipping your tea.
Doormats
Doormats are usually placed at the Entrance door, to refrain the dirt that rides along with the footwear to enter the homes. Some doormats amuse themselves by just sliding around, others have the grip to make them stay, but yet you are standing there, getting all worked up, as it interferes with the movement of the Door. To avoid this, while laying the flooring tile, create a recessed area (Tile Drop) that is the size of the doormat (check standard available size in the market). As a result the doormats remain exactly where they should be, flush with the floor level & there is no interference.
Might look like insignificant things but they play a major role in the safety and utility aspect of the Home design.
